What we check

Every component, from base plates to guard rails

Our inspectors follow a meticulous process to assess every part of the scaffold against current safety standards.

  • Structural stability

Foundations, base plates and ties, checked to make sure the scaffold stands as it was designed to.

  • Load capacity

Whether the scaffold is carrying what it was designed for, and is loaded where it should be.

  • Wear & damage

Tubes, fittings and boards checked for wear, damage and anything missing or loosened.

  • Weather impact

Extra checks after high winds and bad weather, when stability is most at risk.

  • Guard rails & edge protection

Guard rails, toe boards and barriers in place wherever there is a drop.

  • TG20 compliance

Checked against TG20 and current safety guidance, with anything out of line recorded.

Get in touch
  • How often does scaffolding need to be inspected?

Under the Work at Height Regulations, a scaffold has to be inspected after it is put up and before it is first used, at intervals of no more than seven days while it stands, and after anything that could affect its stability — such as high winds. We carry out all three: weekly inspections, post-weather checks and one-off evaluations.

  • Do you inspect scaffolding put up by other companies?

Yes. Whether it’s a structure we’ve installed or one from a third-party provider, we carry out thorough checks in line with current legislation and best practice.

  • What do I get after an inspection?

A clear, comprehensive report of our findings, with professional recommendations for any corrective action required. Detailed reports and risk assessments are provided as standard.

  • Can you set up regular inspections for our site?

Yes. We carry out regular weekly inspections, post-weather checks and one-off evaluations, so you can book a single visit or a schedule that runs for the life of the scaffold.

  • How do you ensure safety on-site?

Safety is our top priority. All scaffolding is designed and erected to meet current UK safety regulations, including SG4, TG20, and Working at Height standards. Our qualified team also carries out regular inspections and provides health and safety reports to ensure full compliance throughout your project.

  • Which areas do you cover?

We’re based in Airth, Stirlingshire, and proudly serve clients in Falkirk, Clackmannanshire, Fife, and across Scotland. If your project falls outside these areas, feel free to get in touch — we may still be able to help.
